It’s always a difficult decision not to continue training one of our dogs. We invest a lot of time and effort into bringing a dog along with such high hopes of success. When a dog doesn’t “make the team,” however, we generally feel that it is in their best interests to find them a home that will be a better match for their talents so that they will get the time and attention that they deserve.
We currently don’t have any started dogs available, though occasionally I’ll be aware of a dog available through one of our friends or training partners.

Hi,
I recently had to put down our beloved springer spaniel we got nearly 11 years ago from a rescue shelter. I always wondered what breed she was. She looked like one of your raintree english springer spaniels. She was taller than a regular springer. I never hunted with her, but in her prime she was fast. those rabbits around our place got the run of their lives. I miss having her around but the wife and I have busy lives. I hope Tunie finds a wonder home.
All the Best,

Steve: thanks so much for stopping by and telling your Springer’s story. Sounds like you had a wonderful time together. Enjoy those memories until you’re able to fit a dog into your lives again.
I came across your web site as I grieve for Nick. Our rescue came to live with us on December 7,2000 and left us on June 10,2012.
I would encourage anyone to share their life with an English Springer. They are great companions who give way more love then they expect back and only ask for a long walk or for that matter a short walk.
I am sure I will continue to visit your site along with a couple of others until that day comes that Cheryl and I are ready to share our lives with another springer.
Thank you for loving springer’s so much that you aren’t a mill and recognize that when they need a career change that others will be happy to help them.
Again thanks for the work you do.

Mike: thank you so much for taking time to leave such a nice comment. We do our utmost to give our dogs the happy life they deserve. Sometimes it turns out that’s not with us. It’s so gratifying to know that they are bringing happiness to someone, and we’ve met a lot of wonderful people through our dogs.
Sounds like Nick was a very fortunate and well-loved dog.
Best regards,
Cathy
We are in Tomahawk.
We are looking for a female puppy, liver/white, small framed. Will you be expecting a litter anytime soon or do you know of any?
