This is just too cute ! Scarlett is picking up where Sophie leaves off in giving Whitecap, Boom, Lanyard, and Starboard a great start in life. We are grateful for the boys getting so much attention. As always, transitions are a bit traumatic, but I think the puppies eventually relaxed enough to enjoy the lovely afternoon. In another day or so they’ll be wishing for larger quarters! Swifty was worried about where we’d left her puppies and was happy to assist in checking on them each time I went out.

Moving on up!

Puppies moved to the weaning pen Tuesday morning. As usual, the move was traumatic at first, but by the evening the puppies were all over the new pen, not at all worried about the change in surface. They continue to do well on weaning, they’re getting about 50% milk and Performance now.
